Cindy Stewart is a wife, stepmom, and Christian Brain and Mental Health Educator. She is passionate about combining the truths of the Bible with brain science to equip Christians to live happy, healthy, blessed lives, even in the tough season of life.
Cindy suffered a brain injury in 2001 playing college soccer. As a result, Cindy suffered with chronic migraine and debilitating anxiety, depression, and suicidal ideation for nearly 20 years post brain injury. These years of suffering left Cindy feelings hopeless and worthless.
BUT GOD!
In 2020, God renewed Cindy’s mind, giving her a desire to live and the determination to fight for her life. With God’s help, she transformed her brain and her life, going from anxious, depressed, and hopeless to happy, healthy, and blessed.
Through her journey, God used 2 Corinthians 1:3–4 to call her to help other Christians live happy, healthy, blessed lives too. Cindy is certified as a Brain Health Coach through Amen University and as a Christian Mental Health Coach through Light University.
She is also completing Lead Well, a two-year leadership development program at Grace Covenant Church that intersects theology, life, and mission to shape Christ-centered leaders for ministry, service, and impact. She is scheduled to graduate in Spring 2025.
Cindy is married to her husband Dennis and has three stepsons and two cats. She, her husband, and youngest stepson live with her wonderful parents. Cindy enjoys spending time with her family (including her seven siblings and 25+ nieces and nephews), watching her youngest stepson play soccer, caring for neighborhood stray cats, serving at church, eating tacos, and staying physically active.
